It's frustrating, to say the least, to have to worry about whether I can get ingredients or not. It alters safety, and efficacy, and just--well, you know how it is when you don't have what you need.
Thankfully for everyone involved, I have no intention of dying again, so I'll be implementing the utmost care in my experimentation.
[Yes he knows that very well, actually. Better than Regulus does. There's a bitter little part of him getting some catharsis over a rich kid learning what it's like not to have access to everything at his fingertips.]

Yeah, it's been alright finding those, I'm trying to keep up a good stock. I'm just worried about hurting people on accident from incorrect ingredients. I'll stick with safe things, for now. Maybe do some personal experiments.

This is probably the stupidest question I've ever asked in my life, but you wouldn't happened to have arrived with a flobberworm?
I need one rather desperately and I'm not happy about needing to look for something to replace it in the caves.

Can't say I did. Nor do I know of anyone who routinely walks about with flobberworms stashed away on their person.
