[It's only recently, and after no small amount of prodding by his friends, that Remus has gotten back into the kink scene. There are parts of it he's missed, things he's not sure how to do without anymore. The community here is nice, they look out for each other in a way no one did in his previous experiences. Slowly, he's learning that this is the norm, and what he experienced was a horrifying outlier. So, slowly, he's rewriting that history.
That's how he finds himself at The Order, a kink club that hosted most of the local scene. No alcohol or anyone who had imbibed in the past hour was allowed in the areas where scenes were carried out, which already was a hell of a relief for him.
He kept to a table by himself, just watching some of the public scenes for now. He had a glass of soda to sip on, and his outfit wouldn't have been out of place on the street, which ironically makes him look quite out of place compared to many in the club. It didn't seem to be a problem, though. There were plenty of other people in normal clothing too, and they seemed just as comfortable and welcome as those in full-out fetish wear.

And he couldn't even blame it on her brightly colored hair, because there were certainly plenty of people with more alternative looks here. He tried to be subtle about it, but their eyes had met at least a couple times from across the room, just for a moment.]

[The rumors of an unknown pack in the area had led Remus here, a large forested area mostly untouched by humans. He set up camp, not deep into what he suspected was the pack's territory but certainly in it. His supplies had to be completely muggle, in case they were the sort of pack that killed wizards on sight, no questions asked.
He didn't just consider the possibility that they may find him first. He was counting on it. This pack had avoided the attention of all muggle and wizarding authorities for years-- Remus wasn't going to be able to track them down on his own. But he suspected very little went on in their territory that they didn't know about.
So, it was simply a matter of waiting, and presenting himself as nonthreatening as possible. This was a diplomatic mission, after all.]

[Alcide doesn't have to be told that there's a new wolf in their territory, he can smell the guy, all apprehension and wariness. He's told anyway, there are scouts whose job is to patrol their territory and report back— he has a no engagement rule, at least not without specific permission, because their people tend to overreact.

[Remus is surprised he hears the man coming, and he knows it's a deliberate choice. They seem to be extending the olive branch. Good start.
